Yui, born in Japan, is an illustrator and visual artist currently based in Prague. Her work reflects on gender issues, but with a humorous twist.
Her works always contain a sense of comedy. For Yui, expressing sexuality with humor is crucial. She endeavors to rediscover the questions of gender equality by engaging with soft sculpture, video, and installation.
Besides her artistic side, she would like to present much more gender issues in our daily lives, so she decided to create her own design brand.
